Balcony House is a 18th Century house, fully restored as a Museum. It is the oldest wooden residential structure in Nassau. The furnishings and design of Balcony House recapture the elegance and glory of a bygone era.
Venue House was once an auction site for slaves and live stock in the 18th Century. The building was restored and opened as the Pompey Museum in September 1992. The museum is named for the slaves, Pompey, Who led a successful revolt at Steventon, Exuma, one of five plantations owned by Lord Rolle.
